Well. We are all living beings. We can walk, run and do many things. And have you ever wondered why plants are also called as living beings even though they can’t run, walk or they can’t even move from one place to another. Well. We say plants have life because plants reproduce, respire, synthesize their food and grow. They also respond to stimuli and show activities which confirm that they have life. Onions and potatoes left under a moist kitchen platform start showing signs of life by budding and sprouting. Have you noticed buds on a potato or green shoots emerging from an onion? Hmmm.. So, finally to conclude, plants do have life.
